چکیده

drogenase in normal human skin. In comparison with glutamate dehydrogenase, which catalyzes reversible oxidative deamination, the transaminases catalyze transfer of amino groups, usually from an amino acid to a ketoacid, without net loss of nitrogen. In other words, transamination represents the intermolecular exchange of amino nitrogen. Transamination plays a significant role in metabolism by providing numerous alternative pathways between amino acids. Obviously, it is a useful process for tissues, by which excessive amounts of certain amino acids can be removed rapidly without storage, and the amino acids of body protein deaminated to serve as energy sources upon oxidation via the citric acid cycle in ease of calorie

Transaminases in the epididymal fluid of the ram.

In a study of the composition of the epididymal fluid of rams, attention was given to the fact that nitrogen compounds constitute a great part of the dry matter and that so far seventeen free amino acids have been detected in the fluid (Ch. Neumark, unpublished data). It was therefore deemed of interest to study the enzymes of their metabolism. Two principal transaminases were investigated: glu...

Branched-chain amino acid metabolism and alanine formation in rat muscles in vitro. Mitochondrial-cytosolic interrelationships.

Muscle branched-chain amino acid metabolism is coupled to alanine formation via branched-chain amino acid aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase, but the subcellular distributions of these and other associated enzymes are uncertain. Recovery of branched-chain aminotransferase in the cytosol fraction after differential centrifugation was shown to be accompanied by leakage of mitochondrial...

Involvement of enzymes of amino acid metabolism and tricarboxylic acid cycle in bovine oocyte maturation in vitro.

Few studies demonstrate at a biochemical level the metabolic profile of both cumulus cells and the oocyte during maturation. The aim of the present study was to investigate the differential participation of enzymatic activity in cumulus cells and in the oocyte during in vitro maturation (IVM) by studying the activity of enzymes involved in the control of amino acid metabolism, alanine aminotran...

بررسی کمی آنزیم های موجود در مایع هیداتید کیست های بارور و استریل اکینوکوکوس گرانولوزوس در گوسفند

Hydatodosis is one of the most important parasitic diseases that has a global distribution and seems more prevalent in some Asian and European countries. Until now, our knowledge of the parasites' biology and metabolism and host-parasite relationships has remained scanty. The main purpose of this study was a comparison between levels of lactate de-hydrogenase (LDH), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), ...

Toxicity of Margarine on liver Enzymes (Aspartate amino transferas and Alanine amino transferase) in Rats

Background: Margarine contain trans fatty acids as major sources of dietary free radicals, and oxidative stress. Effect of oral administration of margarine on hepatic enzyme was investigated in Wistar rats. Methods: Thirty six (36) adult Wistar rats were uniformly divided into three groups of control , margarine 15% and 20%, twelve rats in each groups (6males & 6 females). Margarine was add...
